Fingerprinting Services We Offer
Arkansas Digital Fingerprinting
Cantrell Live Scan provides Arkansas digital fingerprinting for all Arkansas agency requirements. If your agency, licensing board, employer, or application instructions require digital fingerprints be transmitted to the Arkansas State Police, bring the paperwork or instructions with you so we can help determine the correct process.
We are an Arkansas State Police approved Harvester which means we can initiate, or launch, the background check for multiple Arkansas agencies and also capture your fingerprints for transmission to ASP. See the background check section for more.
Digital fingerprinting is commonly used for licensing, employment, healthcare, education, state agency requirements, and other background-check related purposes.
FD-258 Fingerprint Cards
We provide professional ink-style fingerprint cards using digital capture and card printing. FD-258 fingerprint cards are commonly used for federal forms, out-of-state licensing, professional applications, adoption, immigration-related requests, and other agencies that still require physical fingerprint cards.
Our card printing services utilize FBI approved software and certified hardware.
Our standard fingerprint card service includes two FD-258 cards.

ATF EFT Files on a Flash Drive
Cantrell Live Scan provides ATF EFT fingerprint files for ATF eForms. This service is commonly used for ATF Form 1 and Form 4 submissions through the ATF eForms system.
We can provide the EFT file on a flash drive so you can upload it with your ATF eForms application. This process also includes your digital ID pic on this drive.
You walk out of our office with this flash drive in your hand.
Mobile & Group Fingerprinting
For businesses, agencies, teams, and groups with tight schedules, mobile or group fingerprinting may be available by appointment.
This option is helpful for employers, healthcare groups, licensing groups, security teams, schools, and organizations needing multiple people fingerprinted at one time.
If you just don’t have time to come by our office, we can make arrangements to come to you during off hours. More than once, we have met customers at their office, hospital, surgery center or home at 7am and 7pm. Of course there is a fee for this and it has to be in certain areas in Little Rock and North Little Rock.
What to Bring
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- Any instructions from your agency, employer, licensing board, or application packet
- Any required codes, forms, ORI numbers, transaction numbers, or payment instructions provided to you
- Your agency’s mailing address, if fingerprint cards must be mailed somewhere
- Form of payment: cash, check, card, or tap
- Pre-employment screening support

Fingerprinting Accuracy & Equipment
We use professional fingerprinting equipment and software designed for official fingerprint capture. Our equipment and software are FBI Appendix F approved – which means this is not a simple home scanner or a random device from Amazon.
Fingerprint quality matters. We take the time to help capture the clearest prints possible, but some fingerprints are naturally harder to capture than others.
Dry skin, worn ridges, age, medical conditions, certain types of work, damaged fingertips, or very light ridge detail can affect fingerprint quality. We are not magicians – but we use the best equipment available, the best software available, and a process built around getting the best image we can.

Walk-ins are usually welcome during regular business hours. For groups, mobile service, or special situations, please call ahead.
Yes. If your Arkansas agency requires digital fingerprint submission, bring your transaction control number issued by your agency. If your Arkansas agency requires fingerprinting and they have not provided your transaction control number, we might be able to initiate and issue this number for your fingerprinting. Yes. We can capture fingerprints digitally and print them onto FD-258 fingerprint cards. We can even print to different states’ cards in most cases.
Yes. We provide ATF EFT fingerprint files for ATF eForms and save the file on a flash drive with your ID pic for upload to the ATF.
We will work with you to get the best image possible. Some people have worn or faint ridges, especially from age, dry skin, medical issues, or years of hands-on work. We use professional equipment and take the time to do it right.
